Share your event photos.

Thank you for helping capture our community. We show a few highlight photos in the gallery and link to your album for the rest. We look through every photo in an album before we link to it.

Upload them in the Share form. Choose Submit photos, then pick them from your phone.

Make a Google Photos album and send us the link. The steps are below.

Share a Google Photos album

  1. Pick your best shots

    Choose your clearest photos from the event. Your 10 to 30 best is perfect. Leave out anyone who said no to photos.

  2. Make a Google Photos album

    • Open the Google Photos app (or photos.google.com).
    • Select the photos from the event.
    • Tap + (Add to) → Album → New album.
    • Name it with the event and date, for example "Madaraka Day 2026 — Thunder Bay".

  3. Get a link to share

    • Open the album and tap Share → Create link.
    • Make sure anyone with the link can view it. Otherwise people will hit a Google sign-in page.
    • Copy the link.

  4. Send it to us

    Paste the link in the Share form under Submit photos, with the event name, date and place. Or email it to info@wakenyatbay.ca. Tell us whether you'd like to be credited by name.

    Please don't add photos to the album after you send the link. If you have more, make a new album and send that link too, so we can check them first.

Photos and consent

  • Only send photos where the people in them know they may be shown on the website and are okay with it.
  • Children: only send photos of children if a parent or guardian has said yes.
  • Want a photo taken down? Anyone can ask at info@wakenyatbay.ca or through our contact form. We'll remove it from our site and stop linking to the album until it's fixed.

By sending us your photos or album link, you confirm you took them or have the photographer's OK, and you agree that we can show them on wakenyatbay.ca, with your name if you'd like.
